Global look on the African economy

Today more and more people are thinking of getting into business. But I wonder if they really thought about the hard work and countless hours they have to put in for their venture to survive. Some successful people will tell you about the 10 000 hours they had put in for their business to run. But business today has changed, big players are taking larger and larger position of the market share than you can think of. The world's economy remains in the those countries that have long been in the game for centauries. Even with the entry of new player like India and Japan fighting for a slice of this badly bitten pie there is still room for new players on this field.

Africa has a major role to play in the up coming markets. South Africa as a major contributor to the African economy is still ranked 25 from it's GDP by Wikipedia. Now how can Africa compete with these ever growing titans who hold the world economy with their tight clinched fist.
One way is to empower the youth of Africa by challenging them to become produces for the outside countries. Foreign capital is much needed for the growth of this continent. But not capital that comes as investment for foreigners to build infrastructure, capital that comes in a form of income from produced products. I wonder why more and more people are leaving the continent with their skills taking them overseas instead of using them here wisely because this is the most fertile market of the 21 century.

If we really thought about there is nothing that this African continent does not have, when coming to natural resources. The only advantage that this overseas countries have is the massive use of computer and the Internet. So for those who have a chance to produce product I say to you, sell your products to the international markets and invest in the infrastructure on this continent. There is billions of untapped dollars in the infrastructure of this continent which is being taken advantage of by foreign companies.

Business changed by computers! True story!

The truth is the game has changed. Depending on which side you looking at things will determine how you do in this ever changing world of today. About a couple of months ago I was listening to an interview from code.org, and they where on about how everyone should learn programming. They talked about high schools graduates from china who must have a programming certificate in order to pass their matric. Now in this country the most important subject of them all would be English, never forgetting your maths, sciences economics etc. Since most of these overseas countries are leading the way on the digital ground it looks like the official language for tomorrow would be computer language.

I believe that everybody should learn computing at some stage in their lives. If you take a look at the current business market it is totally operated by computers. Which ever field that you choose today computers play a big role in that field. On a serious note computers are taking over the world bit by bit as they say. So it is better to prepare one self for the upcoming changes that come with these machines.
Learners on the subject of machine language already see a movement that is discreet and silence, the noise can only be detected by another computer. This is a world not from this world, its a world that only exist in the minds of people. Now the proverb "A mind is a terrible thing to waste"  Fits in so perfectly. To imagine that a group of people have the ability to change how millions of people think, its so amazing.

The wonderful thing about this change is that there are so many jobs available in this field but there are few people to fill in those position. People this is the new way of thinking and if we do not adapt to this change we will be left in the cold or wiped out from the face of the earth. It is exciting just talking about this topic because it is a mind changer. Making money has not gotten this simple in a couple of hundred years. So if it's money that you want then is computers that you have to learn about. That is the truth nothing but the truth so help God!

Business model of developimg markets.

The small economics of our business model consist of these players at the beginning of the food chain. You first have the individual salesman who walks with his product in hand and telling the price to everyone. This will most likely be the beginning of most start up companies.

Now comes the street vendor who has their products nicely packed on top of a what looks like a table. These form of business is the most common business model found in major cities around the world.
Most cities have in them a central market system where you'll find major highways crossing each other, This will automatically create a mass movement amongst people who are walking. This small businesses are another major drive force in most developing economies. Millions of people are employed by these type of vendor business all around the world. These type of businesses do not really on the advancement of technology that much. They will always survive the technological changes that come with the business model that is created today. Now seems to be a problem for an advancing economy. If the they rely less on technology then there's less room for them to grow and if they don't grow then they remain in one place.
The third business model we have in our economy is still regarded as small business because most of the time they will employ less than 20 people. These businesses are mostly 1 man business type of ships. They are mostly found at ground level where a lot of walking done. At times you will find that these business are owned by foreigners more than they are owned by people from that particular region.

Lastly our economy consist of large corporate type businesses. The major pushers of our economy, they make the rules and change them at a spit second if they wanted to. I don't know how many people dream of this type of business ownership but truly speaking if you are in business or thinking of going in to business then this is the place you would want to be. A mistake by these businesses is more than enough to cause a recession for people in that region. They operate at the stock exchange level and products at ground level. Their scope of operation is globally in most cases.

Free Internet the future of computing!

The world has just celebrated the 95th birthday of a man who's name is synonymous with freedom. Nelson Mandela! He has fought for freedom longer than any man alive today! Past are the day's of this icon with the fruits being ripped by the people of South Africa. Today where have entered into a new era! The digital era! Nelson Mandela's work was a step forward towards what's about to come! I'm the youth of today in this South African Economy and I see that there is still more freedom fighting to be done on our be-half!

Enter into the world of computer's and programming! We can fairly say that this world being controlled by a minority is changing the face of the earth. Speaking of something basic that we can all relate to is the amount of money people have to pay in order to access the internet! Those who know, know that the internet is for free. This is the best kept secret of the 21st century. Now if it's for free why are we paying to use it. The answer is simple, we are paying because we don't know that the Internet is for free. The greatest secret in business ever told is you pay for what you don't know!

Would you pay someone to watch TV for you and explained what they just watched?
I don't think you would do that because it would be a waste of money!
The Internet and it's prices has been the subject of great debate amount people of all countries. Maybe there are countries who are free of this worry and lucky they are. Our focus here should be to minimize the amount of money we are paying to service to use this free tool!
This is the freedom that we should be fighting for today! Digital Freedom

There is a lot more happening in that world of Internet Service Providers at the moment that we know of. What I can tell you now is prices are at all time low compared to 5 years ago. This move is largely influenced by new entries in this digital market. More and more players overseas are entertaining the market and offering prices that beat the current services providers, that would automatically force the current players  to cut down their prices.

This is one big food chain, we are left with a question of where do we fit in into this circle.
The answer is very simple, since we know that the Internet is something for free we can work our way from there. There are a lot of educated people who will read this blog and find that the wording is simple but the technicalities that involve this hole move is far  more complex than you think. People this is some other kind of freedom that I'm preaching here, with a little help from friends and powerful people it is totally possible.

I was on the phone with a friend of mine and a master is this field of computer networking and he suggested a method of by passing the service providers. That would seem like a pretty good idea for a while but that would leave a hole lot of people out of jobs and we don't want that. So some other methods are needed to engage subject. I challenge you to come up with ideas of your own.
